Default Train parking permit on Route 59 (Aurora/Naperville) - willing to trade for route 25 parking permit

All,
Years ago I signed up to be on the waiting list for Route 59 parking permits (6 year wait).

Since moved farther west (oswego), and am now driving to aurora transportation center (route 25).

I was just notified that I'm about 1 month away from getting the route 59 parking permit, but that drive is too long for me.

Anyone interested in switching from a Route 25 parking permit (aurora downtown) to Route 59?

Thanks,
DaddySkier

Don't think that will fly unless you have a "car pool" set up: http://www.naperville.il.us/emplibra...rmitpolicy.pdf

Naperville can mind their own bees-wax. Permits for the Route 59 station that I'm refering to are through the town of Aurora, not Naperville...

Good luck on the trade. Make sure you and the one trade w/ you change your car info registered online with the Permit Store (that is the company admin the parking sticker) so the sticker match the car.

Default Can't trade, but willing to buy :)

Hi there,
If you can't find anyone to switch permits with you, but you still can't use the Rt. 59 one, I would love to buy it from you. I just graduated college and am starting my job downtown tomorrow and am dreading the parking situation there.
Please let me know if you'd like to sell it. Thanks!

Have you looked at the Park & Ride off of Orchard Rd? Depending on where you live in Oswego it might be closer or quicker. Where ever you live its in a better neighborhood.

I have tried the Oswego park and ride. Works well if you have a consistent schedule (I don't) but does not have coverage for every train to and from aurora downtown station (even on rush hour routes).

Too often, I've missed the outbound trains that have the park and ride hookup and have had to wait for the next bus to show up.

Also, twice have been on train times that arrive AFTER park and ride service has ended for the day. I'm sure that most here would agree that it's better to be dropped off in downtown aurora after 7pm WITH A CAR in the parking lot rather than trying to bum a ride from downtown aurora out to oswego at that time....

Hi,

I live in Aurora and take train from Route 59 to go to work in Chicago city. I don't have a parking pass to trade, but if you are interested, I can rent your parking permit for Route 59 station.

Please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks!!
Pavan
