"The 'R' Place" in Morris, IL...Is It Still Around?
Hello everyone!
Up until Fall 2005, I frequently traveled to Streator, IL, to visit my aunt and uncle out there. Long story short, on occasion I would stop in Morris, IL to get breakfast at this cool truck stop along the way called "The 'R' Place," which was right off the highway, forgot which one though because its been a couple years. Anyways last time I was out there, someone told me that it was going to be torn down and a KMart was taking its place, but they werent sure. I am going out to Streator in the next month or so to relive some old memories....anyone know for sure if the place is torn down? I would love to stop there if it is still open. Thanks for the help!
