Default College intern @ the Iroquois Club in Naperville

I am a student studying civil engineering at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh and recently recieved a summer internship offer from Patrick Engineering at their Lisle office. There putting me up for the summer in a furnished apt. called the Iroquois Club. By the looks of the website it appears to be very nice. I wanted to know if there were any bars, restaurants, etc. were young people convened. How close exactly is the "downtown" part of Naperville. I understand that it is an outer ring suburb so I would assume there are a lot of families in the area. If this is the case, then how convenient is it to travel into downtown Chicago (the Loop, Wrigleyville, etc.) through bus or train? I would greatly appreciate any information

There are tons of bars and restaurants in downtown Naperville where there will be people your age (lots of other college students home for the summer). It will be a short drive from your apartment to downtown Naperville. Try Jimmy's, Potter's and Quigley's. Have fun! If you decide to go into the city, it's a short drive to the Fifth Avenue Station Metra Station.

Here.... Naperville Restaurants Bars Clubs Entertainment. That oughtta help.

And there are 2 metra stations in town to get you downtown Chicago in no time. One is at Rt. 59 near the North Aurora Rd intersection, the other is on Washington St., about 3 blocks or so north of dowtown (Jefferson St area).
