Question Moving to Peoria

Hi , I'm moving to Peoria this summer. I'm looking at the apartments on High street ( Historic District ). Is it a good area to live ? Its kinda pricey . Is it worth the money? Above all , is it safe??

I wouldn't because of the surrounding area. You need to move your question to the Illinois forum - not chicago or chicago suburbs - if you want more than one opinion.

Default High Street in Peoria

Not the best area......anything around Bradley Univ. is not great....stay North of Forrest Hill if you can.......Peoria Heights is good enough, South and East end stay out of... closer to the river, closer to trouble...East Peoria, across the river is decent enough, parts of Bartonville are decent enough.
