Talking New job with Sears in Hoffman Estates

Hi everyone!

I will be moving to the Chicago area from East Lansing, MI this summer to start working for Sears in Hoffman Estates. I will be looking for an apartment preferrably close to work in a safe area with good shopping and restaurants. I know one person who lives in Glenview Heights but she's only been there a year so doesn't have too much experience to give advice on where to live.

Any suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

if you want suburbs, there are plenty of large apartment complexes in Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg. After you find one that will take a large dog, check it out at night. This is a good time of year to be looking, because if you're going to have noisy neighbors, or lots of scary people hanging in the parking lots, this is the time you'd see it.
