Glen Ellyn/Wheaton - Church to meet singles? (St. Charles, Barrington: high schools, college)

Hi, I live in the Glen Ellyn/Wheaton area, and I'm looking to find a church where I can meet single females, late 20's to mid-30's. I don't drink much, so I don't care for the bar scene. I was raised Catholic, so I'm open to Catholic/Christian churches. It seems that when I do attend a church in this area, most of the people are families with children. Any ideas?

There is a Wheaton Willow Creek extension Church where you can actively participate in Singles activities with people your age. And the Main facility in South Barrington has even more opportunities.

There is a Christ Community Church on Randall Rd (about 20 minutes from Wheaton) in St. Charles that is HUGE and has a really good singles scene from what Ive been told. Its right on Randall Road near the Red Gate Road intersection, on the west side of Randall. Its huge, you cant miss it. Give it a shot and see what you think, it doesnt hurt, right?

I used to attend the First Baptist Church in Wheaton many years back and there were many a fine chick there, as well as many "youth group" gatherings on weekday nights and weekends. Just another idea...

The larger churches in Wheaton are: First baptist, College Church, First Pres., Wheaton Bible and the satellite churches at the high schools. While I'm not single and not a member of these churches I've heard they have active groups of all ages. I know a lot of people who attend Glen Ellyn Bible and the UCC church on Forest in Glen Ellyn. Perhaps check out to see if any of these places have websites with general information. Of all places, Wheaton/Glen Ellyn area should have something to meet your needs! Good luck in your search.

Try the Christ Church in Oakbrook IL. They have a large singles ministry and there are singles of every denomination (Catholics included) that go to their events. Check out this website, although this group might be slightly older than what you are looking for.

You can try st. mike's in downtown wheaton. I know it is catholic and has many activities available that might be worth looking into.
