West Chicago Metra
I will be starting a job in West Chicago. Is it possible to reverse commute by Metra? I would love to live in the city and leave my car at the West Chicago Metra stop. Is this common, or even possible? Are you allowed to leave your car at the West Chicago station overnight and on the weekends?
Thanks,
Drew

Most towns prohibit overnight Metra lot parking, but sometimes nearby businesses/churches/civic groups will lease you a space with out such restrictions...

I'm fairly certain overnight parking in West Chicago is allowed. You should call the city of West Chicago and ask about the particular regulations.

Just make sure your car is parked in a lit area and well-secured. The WC Metra station is a block from the worst apartment complex in town (on Clayton St). The WC Police Department is right there, too, but just be careful when leaving a car parked over the weekend, keep all valuables out of sight.
