Looking for Summer Camps in the North Shore Area
I am anticipating moving to Glencoe within the next month or so and am looking for a full day summer camp for my 11 year old daughter. I am looking for activites that include arts and crafts, swimming, science, etc..
Also, camps in the surrounding communities would be of interest to me as well.
Thank you for any assistance you can give me

I would start with the local park districts. Many have excellent programs throughout the summer. Check the websites. Also, YMCAs in the area. Thats a start.

Does your daughter have any specific interests? Or are you just looking for a general interest camp?

Most of the area day camps start mid-June, but some of them offer by the week options and some of the park district camps offer mid-season four week sessions beginning around mid- July. Additionally, the Botanic Garden camps are all week long sessions.

I would suggest the summer camp held by Little Linguists Academy. It is really fun and your kids can learn another language (Chinese or Spanish). My kids already joined the camp for three years. Here is the contact info: Angel Li, 773-557-9726.
Good luck.
