Some folks like both Chicago and 'burbs so much that they actually have HOMES in both places! Personally I am not likely to ever sink that much money into two properties so close together for my own use, but enough people HAVE that it did inspire some of the bigger real estate firms to market to them. I know a handful of people that have done so. It is pretty great to have a place even in the Viagra Triangle to go after late nights at work or on the weekend or after a concert/performance, or a sporting event. Of course this is EXPENSIVE but there are ways to defray the costs.
