Can someone compare Evanston to Park Ridge and Oak Park?

I've never lived in Evanston, but I used to go out to it at least once a week when I still lived in Chicago. I especially went to the Caribbean Market (I think that's what it's called, I forgot, it's been 4 years) for meat pies. I used to get my hair done there, and I loved it. I even wanted to just stay around because we were constantly watching movies there. Sometimes I'd just walk around Evanston for no particular reason. I don't think this really helps, but from my experience, Evanston is pretty nice. I'm not saying it's without fault, though...every place has their problems.
