I thought that looked way too high. Why do posters keep confusing South Barrington with the village of Barrington?

I would seriously consider that, as housing prices are falling and you wouldn't want to be a "knife-catcher" known as "catching a falling knife", which is buying an asset that is still falling in value.

I got that info from a local real estate website, lakebarringtonrealty.com
(that's what they have for the zip code 60010) now I don't know what south barrington's zip is, but I'm sure that Barrington people make over 100K. You can't buy a house worth at least 400K making 100K or less.
