Of course I have. I don't really have a hard time or feel bad shopping there, it's just a depressed mall....barely hanging on

Is Ford City really that bad??? I've only been to the Amc there, never inside the mall.

If I were to rank the malls by ' how bad they are' it would be like this:
Ford City
Lincoln Mall- really there's nothing there
Evergreen Plaza
North Riverside
River Oaks
Chicago Ridge
don't get me wrong most have the type I stores I shop at, but some of the people are very short on class.

I think the south suburbs could really use another mall. Anyone else agree?

Nope, just clean up the ones you have- indoor malls are beginning to be outdated and are being replaced with strip malls and internet shopping
ie. Forest Park Mall on Roosevelt and Des Plaines was once a thriving mall in the 80s and early 90s until it was shut down and sold to a church
The Brick Yard Mall on Chicago's NW side had much of the same fate as FPM and was turned into a huge strip mall
