Oh, I see your being sarcastic, lol. How about a mall in Richton or Forest Park? Is there available land in (dare I say it!?!!?) Hazel Crest or Country Club Hills?

Im sure you mean Park Forest. Park Forest did have Park Forest Plaza but was doomed for success because of nearby Lincoln Mall. The land is still there I think and could be rehabbed. I think using "old" land would be best when it comes to building a mall

It's not on the crossroads of a major street. I was thinking around Homewood, CCH, Olympia Fields, that area. Call it "Southland Mall" or something upscale sounding. Need to make those West of I-57'ners come.

I think most Chicagoans identify more with Marshall Fields or Carson Pirie Scott because they are stores that originated in Chicago. Macy's is a New York department store and to have a Macy's in Chicago(land) is a slap in the face
