Yeah, River Oaks used to have a Jewels in the 80's.(where the food court is now) I think it moved to South Holland. There's your mall history lesson for the day.

Northbrook Court and 900 North Michigan have far fewer teenagers than all of the others I've visited.

whatever it takes. on 900 north I get parking validated, pay only like $6. And it has reasonable stores. Northbrook has a gymboree, a nice, peaceful theater where you can relax and see a matinee with the kids, a great indoor play area, etc. I'm not too into malls but once in a while when I need one that's where I head.

Think it's a good idea?

It's a good idea depending on the restaurants. I think one would want restaurants that bring in a certain clientele

Well the Evergreen Plaza is seriously outdated then because there is a grocery store(maybe even a dollar store) in the mall.

The day they wheel out the wrecking ball for The Plaza I'll be the first in line to cheer, followed by a neighborhood party at my place.

Isn't Carson Pirie Scott the only department store there?

I know that place is really keeping Beverly and Evergreen Park behind! I wonder what its replacement would be?
