Today I figured Id battle 2 similar suburbs... Plainfield and Gurnee. Do you take the northern burb thats close to Gurnee Mills, Great America, etc? Or do you take the southwest burb thats close to Naperville, etc?
Lets hear it for the two most cookie-cutter burbs in Chicagoland! Game on! |

Gurnee, way more trees than the built over corn fields of Plainfield.

Gurnee - Closer to the Lake and Illinois Beach State Park and not in the middle of nowhere like Plainfield.

Honestly I have not been to Gurnee in years. I only know what I see from the expressway so that isn't saying much. Even though I know little about it I am thinking I'd vote for Gurnee over Plainfield. While Plainfield is fine, it is just not my cup of tea.

Gurnee. It's closer to Wisconsin. And the lake is still somewhat accessible.
