Well, you need to talk to some posters here who don't like Eastern Europeans living in Elmwood Park either. Just because you're Eastern European doesn't mean you're the correct kind of white.

Cocked hats in Chicago/Chicagoland are a clear signal of gang affiliation. Baggy clothes are not. People have been wearing baggy clothes since at least the early 1990s. Please get used to it, it's not gonna go away. If people are littering or tagging your property, or engaging in theft or violent activity, by all means, you are right to complain to the police. If you're calling the cops because some brown & black kids in baggy pants are hanging out on the corner, you're wasting your time, and more importantly, wasting the time of a police department that has real crime like murders & rapes to deal with.

So what then is the basis for his assertion? It's pretty clear that this person desperately wants to believe that EP has gone down the drain. It's a belief that has an unshakeable religious quality to it. It is a belief that is sustained by confirmation bias. It is predicated on the notion that minorities are bad for Elmwood Park, and every crime incident that occurs involving them is then magnified to confirm that belief.

Mr. Ultra Liberal, you can read stats and educate yourself, but you will never truly understand. All of the education in the world will never give you common sense or street smarts. Please stat man, can I give you some homework tonight before you read The Audacity of Hope for the seventh time. Can you please tell me when any minority group consisting of Hispanics and Blacks have moved into an all white town and that town actually improved. Please cite stats of the schools improving and the crime rate falling, once these groups moved into a town. And please tell me why all jails throughout the U.S. are primarilly packed with these individuals. I would love to hear your response.

You're telling him to cite stats, when through all these pages of posting, you still have yet to do that? I thought stats were unreliable? I guess that only applies to the ones that would hurt your argument.
