Default Antioch, IL vs. Cary IL- one better than the other?

Hi, My husband will be transferring to the Chicago area from Indiana and I would like some preliminary information. Can you please tell me what the differences are between Antioch and Cary related to schools, friendliness/atmosphere, housing value/taxes? Is one better than another in regards to high school choice? (Our son will be entering 9th grade after being in the same school system since Kindergarten) Thank you very much for your help!

Cary is a nicer envorment. I moved from Chicago to Antioch and lived their for a year and then moved to Cary and enjoy the town allot more. The people are nicer and it is more city like compared to Antioch where it is alot of farm land and less places. The people in Antioch sort of keep to themselves where as in Cary the people are friendly and the commutiy is nice and more modern looking.

I agree - Cary has better schools and is less remote from the overall suburban area than Antioch is. In my limited experience, traffic is also better - larger roads, etc. in the Cary area.
