I don't consider people going to Woodfield from Rockford or Janesville for an afternoon to be tourists. That's just silly. And yes, people do this. My college roommate would drive down to Woodfield from Madison to go shopping on weekends, and then turn right around to come home. That's not a tourist.

I believe it..The number one attraction in South Florida is Sawgrass Mills Mall..More than South Beach, Fort Lauderdale. Its out in the middle of no where, but it has hotels around it because people from outside the country would fly in simply to shop..welcome to the world of a weak dollar.
