What is it, like $20 now? Ridiculous.

I went last month and the parking was free. But it was a "special event", so that may have been the reason. Is it really $20 just to park?

I believe its around $20 to park.

Don't forget to bring a bottle of anal lube when you visit, you'll find the bottle empty before the day is 1/2 over. Six Flags is ridiculously overpriced.

I looked into taking the family there this fall, but not for $55/ person. However, the season passes are only $70, so I think we may go that route next year.

Geesh thats a little harsh, I don't think it's that bad....

For seventy dollars you can buy a season pass for the remainder of this year and all of next year. You get the theme park and a really good water park. Parking is $15 for the further out lot and $25 for the closer lot. For $60 you can get a season parking pass that will give you access to the close in lot for the remainder for this year and next.

TO ANSWER THE ORGINAL QUESTION: For public transportation from Chicago take the Chicago Northwestern METRA train to Waukegan. Then take the RTA pace bus #565 Grand Ave. bus west bound to Grand ave at Lawson st. To get the times/bus schedule go to www.pacebus.com and search route #565.

I think Six Flags is making a big mistake not upping the beer sales. Every time I'm in one of those long lines, I am jonesin' for a cold beer. I know it's a "family place", but it's really hard to get a beer there.
