Pretty general question. Can you be more specific?

There are probably 5-6 million people here who have jobs. Does that answer the question?

I have a job in the burbs, so from my perspective, there seems to be enough jobs here. YMMV

There are a lot of companies in the suburbs. The "suburbs" is comprised of a very large area. Your question is too general.

IL unemployment is very high and I personally know many out of work. You will have to be specific as to which industry or field you are interested in gaining work.

I've had 5 jobs in the last 30 years of my IT career - all in the burbs. There's tons of professional jobs in the West, Northwest and North suburbs. Unfortunately, I live in the far southwest suburbs and have always had a long commute to my job - oh well, can't have everything in life.

Lately there's been more and more northbound traffic on I-94 in the morning. But who knows, maybe all of them are either visiting followers of the Bahai religion heading to Wilmette, or fans of Ray Bradbury driving rental cars to Waukegan to see the town he called home as a child.

2. Abbott
3. Baxter
4. Hewitt
