YOU also have the comprehension problems! Where is the question? I will repeat for you: I NEVER asked for advice on whether or not to vaccinate my child in three seperate vaccines! I stated MY REASONING for doing so (not asking opinions on MY reasoning) and ASKED about doctors.

As for the quote, I ALREADY stated I misread it. Wow, it is obviously YOU who wants to start an arguement. If I'VE already admitted a SMALL mistake on my part, it is suprising you cannot as well. That saddens me.

Basically when it comes down to it, you cannot understand what I am trying to get across; Funny how MANY others can however.

If we do not see eye to eye, what is it that keeps you drawn to me? Why must you keep trying to point out these so-called "shortcomings" of others?

I've already agreed to disagree with you. I've already apologized. I've already admitted/pointed out my misrepresentation of a quote. I've said MaNY nice things to you, yet you keep on my case.

Please leave me alone. Please take care.

Are you looking to space out the vaccinations? Dr. Sears has a great delayed vax schedule. Most peds will honor that schedule.

Yes, I am looking to space them out. She is 8 months so she isn't scheduled for any until 15months(ish) for the MMR and chicken pox. I'm still not sure if I'm even going to give her the chicken pox one. If she doesn't contract it naturally, maybe when she is older. Not sure what school laws will be like by the time she enters, so we will see. My pediatrician will not honor this. Great doctor, just not willing to help me out in this case. I'm still researching alternative schedules and hoping to see what a couple different doctors recommend for them. Thanks. Where is Dr. Sears?

I don't think chicken pox is necessary for school, but I could be wrong. Heck, they didn't have that vax when I was a kid, and that was only 20 years ago! And I'm fine!

Dr. Sears, unfortunately, is far away in California. He is the author of several books and is a very well respected pediatrician and his son is also a pedi. Check out his books. He has a great vax schedule. Call some pedis in Elmhurst and ask if they will be for delaying vax per Dr. Sears' schedule.

He has a newsletter as well, and lots of info regarding vax on his website:

Hope this helps!

The chicken pox vaccine is required for school unless they have already have had chicken pox.

Can we shut this thread down? It is getting to be one big name calling argument.

I hope it wouldnt' be shut down. I am still getting important and useful information.

Thank you for yet another concern LOL!

Oh yea, I've heard of Dr. Sears. Very useful. I also found a vaccine information seminar on Nov 30th at teh Home First Family Practice Chicago Medical Center on Peterson Ave. It is 7pm to 9pm.

Thank you again

No, it will be shut down, as you've claimed the people here are unable or unwilling to help you and you said you've already gotten the information you needed. For more discussion on the MMR vaccination, please post in the Health and Wellness forum. But I'll tell you right now, if you can't handle discussion or critique you won't last very long over there either.
