Hey everyone,
Looking at a potential relo to the Chicago area and I think the Barrington area is a real possibility for us after having read many of the posts here. All very helpful, thanks!
Looking at the map it looks like it's a straight shot to Des Plaines via route 14. How bad is traffic in the morning? Anyone go up and down that way?

Hi,I live in Barrington and it is a straight shot down 14 to Des Plaines.There is rush hour traffic ,but its spotty and the commute certainly doable. Also,there are LOTS of stop lights,its not a freeway.
