Dupage County Drivers, esp Roselle, Lombard, Glendale (insurance, costs)

Whoa................Got bagged for a ticket, in Roselle, 45 in a thirty zone, during the day, got the ticket, a computerized receipt, and an envelope, did not send it in, got court date, went to court, got supervision, had to pay 285.00 dollars, Yea................

They raised their court fees, by two hundred percent, I was better off, just paying the seventy five dollar guilty plea, and just be careful, in the future, but I couldnt this time

there were at least thirty people ahead of me, and all had to go thru the same shock, in less than hour, the dupage county court district, made 30 times 285,

Be careful, and if u can plead guilty, and send in the seventy five, but most important, dont go to court, and make sure, you contact them, before they send u a court date, once u get that court date notice, you just spent two hundred plus dollars

OR... an even better idea..... SLOW down so you dont get the ticket to begin with.

I dont think it was the ticket fees he was complaining about - but the Court Costs that are tacked on.

What about the savings by not having a guilty verdict get reported to your auto insurance company?
YOur short term costs are high, but you may have saved yourself $ in the long term.
Try keeping it under 10 over, 7 to be safe.

Easy, follow the law or at least don't exceed the limit by more than 5 mph. That's why the driving is more civil up north. Try driving down here in metro Orlando, a lot of idiots. Don't be one of the few in IL.
