Since it is sandwiched in an area that could go either oswego or montgomery, it would depend on the long-term plans of either of those communities. Also, if there was a proposal for the unincorporated area to become annexed to one of those communities, the residents would have to vote on it. We went through a similar situation in sugar grove, with the unincorporated area of prestbury. they declined to be annexed to sugar grove even though they receive sugar grove water and sewer. their addresses used to be aurora, however, their addresses are now sugar grove, due to the changes made by the post office. it did not effect them as being residents of sugar grove though. they are just kane county residents from sugar grove township.
