You misunderstand me. I'm not talking about white flight based upon non-white folks moving in. I'm talking about white flight as a result of surging crime, graffitti, home invasion, gang-banging, etc. When someone is forced to sell their home because they are no longer safe in or outside of it, THAT is very sad.

And they typically lose everything when they end up selling their homes under those conditions... "White Flight" isn't exactly good for real estate values. No amount of white liberal guilt in the world would convince me to commit economic suicide for my family.

Its an everlasting and interesting thread because the issue of white flight is happening all over the country, mainly due to spread out section 8 vouchers, the emergence of inner cities gentrifing, and housing projects being eliminated. With Obama keeping the borders open to more Hispanics, whites will have nowhere to take flight soon.
