Palatine to Motorola Schaumburg PACE/Metra/Shuttle Route?
I just move to Illinois for the next 2-3 years, and now it's the first week. I am totally lost about the public transportation methods.
I live in Palatine, and work in Motorola Schaumburg Campus. I noticed from some former post that Motorola has shuttle picking up in Arlington Height?? But I am not sure if there is any shuttle picking up in Palatine.
What will be the possible route from Palatine to Motorola?
Thanks.

If you're only here for a week... rent a car.

Why don't you just call Motorola and ask? It is going to be very difficult to find any info about a private shuttle bus elswhere....

Ah, I see.
My ex commuted from Chicago to Motorola for years. The only practical way for her to do it was by car. Motorola does have a shuttle van (or at least they did, who knows if they still have it in these very lean times) that runs to a few Metra train stations, but unless your work and transportation schedule just happens to coincide with the shuttle schedule, you're SOL. It might also be technically feasible to use public transit but your commute would probably be close to 2 hours each way. Suburban mass transit is woefully inadequate, and nothing short of a complete overhaul of our transportation infrastructure is going to change that.
