Mother in law grew up there before it went crazy with high-end housing development. I remember the A & P, the Ben Franklin, Robert Hall. Don't forget the biggest landmark of all: Glenview Naval Air Station. They used to hold free concerts there by military bands. A friend of mine also used to work at the PX>

Yeah, I know. Technically, this was in Niles, but this Glenview native walked to Golf Mill many times during my youth! Please feel free to post any historical Glenview area pics you may have.

Seriously though, this is the coolest website I have seen. I did NOT know this existed! For the history and geography nerd this is the ultimate. GREAT educational tool too. Thanks!
