Default Suburbs with lots of businesses, warehouses, factories?

I recently lost my job I'm going business to business selling wholesale energy to help cover expenses for my family. I'm fairly new to Chicago and would like to know what areas have lots of Industrial parks, businesses that use a good amount of electricity, etc. I've been to Niles and Skokie but need to canvas more areas. Anybody know of an area within 20 miles of Chicago with a high density of medium to large businesses? thanks for the advice!

You may want to look at towns in eastern DuPage County (e.g. Bensenville, Elk Grove Village). There are quite a few industrial parks in the area as manufacturers are attracted to the lower sales tax/commercial real estate tax (vs. Cook county) and the central location to city/burbs/O'hare.

Alsip as well, although I'm sure you'll prefer Bensenville/Elk Grove since it's closer to Niles and Skokie.

Don't forget Bolingbrook/Aurora and Joliet, lots of massive warehouse facilities there. Itasca, Addison, and Glendale Heights have some areas as well.

Monee and Manteno (off of cicero/governor's highway as they merge into one street) fit the bill. Also, Harvey and South Holland (off of halsted north of 171st ave.) have quite a few businesses but those towns are rough in comparison to a town like University Park (also off of governor's highway just south of matteson) which is littered with major warehouses to major corporations such as SOLOCUP. monee has some large warehouses such as World Kitchen. they are far away but what can you do? manteno also has some solid corporate locations and warehouses such as SEARS.

Addison seems like an industrial/warehouse area and so does Broadview between 290 & Roosevelt Road
