Default Crystal Lake-which neighborhoods attend which high school?

Can anyone help me with figuring out which parts of Crystal Lake attend which high schools? Is there a way to know what neighborhoods attend which of the different schools in that area so I can target our home search? Any thoughts on Crystal Lake Central? Thanks in advance!

I have had three people relocate to Crystal Lake and each one has moved into an area tso their kids can go to a particular school. However, all three families are sending their children to three different schools. Which one do YOU prefer?

I also wondered what school was more desirable.

I guess I'm not really sure as to which school I'm interested in. I've researched them all on greatschools.net and the district website, and they seem to each have their own "flavor" so to speak. Maybe not...it's hard to get an impression from a website- that's why I was hoping for some feedback here. I guess I seem to like Crystal Lake Central High. It seems to be maybe a little more diverse in terms of student population. Our son will be a freshman, is strong academically, but is not into sports...other than skateboarding. He is also interested in his drums and is thinking about marching band in high school. Am I going to find anything that is perhaps a little more diverse than the typical suburban upper- middle class school in a suburb? (That is where we are coming from, so I certainly don't mean that comment to be disrespectful: our son just seems to fit into a more unique crowd than our daughter ever did, so I want him to find a school that is somewhat more accepting. Maybe that's asking too much for high school ! Sorry for the long post...thanks for any help!
