What would happen if Joliet, Naperville and Aurora went to war? (Plainfield: houses, theater)

Its never wise to fight two enemies at the same time. You can defeat your strongest enemy and then be defeated by the weaker one while your strength has been depleted by battle.

Aurora & Joliet would fight each other and Naperville would defeat the winner, even though they would have lost to either if the troops had been fresh.

Well than Joliet and Aurora should ally themselves to pillage and rape Naperville, which I must admit sounds like great fun. Naperville would certainly be the prize of this conflict; all the fancy houses with home theaters, the SUVs and German cars. The clean well groomed women and obedient children would make excellent slaves and their menfolk aren't very tough and tend towards decadence and besides, those little alligators and polo players on their shirts make great targets.

Then Joliet and Aurora can fight each other over the spoils, like Steppe Peoples or Germanic barbarians.

No, I don't think they'd ally with each other. There wouldn't be any element of trust. Either of the two would be more likely to offer false protection to Naperville and then defeat the other aggressive town.

Of course their false protection would then turn ugly.

After a a couple of days they would realize the real problem is you and that you caused the war start.

They would all join together and hunt you down.

After finding you in a spiderhole, you would be arrested,held in captivity,tried, and executed.
