Hi folks I am moving from New York to Illinois, could anyone tell me where the best place to rent a small house would be near La Grange 60525 and I would also like some links to some rental realtor's websites.
Thank you very much for your time! |

Sometimes you can find a good home vs an apartment by using the MLS to find homes owned by builders because it takes a while to get plans approved and builders have to hold the homes so they rent to cover costs, often at a fraction of what investors want because they aren't looking to make money necessarily. My husband and I held a home for over a year waiting for a permit approval and in retrospect wish we had rented it. I have a few friends whose husbands are builders and may have a home or two that they want to rent. I just checked the MLS and saw at least 5 homes close to downtown Hinsdale for rent which would be close to LaGrange (5-10 minutes) for 1350-1500 (a far cry from what it would cost to pay the mortgage let alone the taxes in an area where finding a home under 400K near dowtown is a feat). I saw one in LaGrange for 1550 but the homes in Hinsdale were larger. Let me know if I can help you further.
