Default Indoor kids area in Orland Park

Does anyone know of an indoor park, play place, whatever in Orland Park (or nearby) where kids can run around crazy when it's cold out?? I live in Beverly and there is absolutely nothing. I imagine suburbs are good for this kind of thing and Orland Park is relatively close and tends to have more useful businesses than just about anyplace within 20 minutes.

I've googled but it's not as easy as you would imagine. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm happy to pay entrance fees, memberships. etc. Doesn't have to be public.

There USED to be a place like that somewhere around La Grange and 151st. But I think I remember seeing it close like 5 years. I started googling around to try and remember the name of the place...it looked like kind of a minor chain. It looked like it had jungle gyms, giant ball pits, that sort of thing. Then I found THIS site Kidwinks - Children's Events, Kid Friendly Events
clicked indoor play areas, and found a place called Jump Zone. I think the one in Orland Park might have been Jump Zone! And there's one in Mokena, it looks like! So there you go.

Before I found that, I was going to say the only places I knew of were arcade type of places. Odyssey Fun World in SE Tinley Park and Hollywood Park in Crestwood come to mind. Mostly video arcades though. Although Odyssey has some bumper boats and go-carts, which is outdoors...I don't remember what there is inside besides arcade games.

HTH!

Thanks, I'll check it out -- need to distract the kids a few days while my wife is gone and it's a bit too cold to sit out in a park for three hours.

Oak LAwn has an indoor playground - that would not be too far for you.
OAK LAWN PARK DISTRICT
There is also a Children's Museum right in Oak Lawn.
Welcome to The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn | Explore and Soar with Us!
3-D Gymnastics is now in Alsip, and they have an open gym time for a few dollars.
3D Gymnastics and Cheer > Home ( DNN 3.2.2 )
Orland Park or Tinley Park have a "Pump It Up" which is an indoor playspace with inflatables - they have open admission times even though they're more targeted for parties.
Kids Birthday Orland Park, (IL) Illinois | Indoor | Inflatable | Jumping Party | Childs Bounce Party | Family Entertainment | Pump It Up
Also, you can drive south to Homewood for indoor Rock Climbing Gym for a short "explorer climb" or something like that. They charge maybe $10 and your kids get 3 climbs and you don't have to know how to belay or anything. Its called Climb On!
ClimbOn Indoor Rock Climbing Gym - Homewood, IL

There was also another called Leaps and Bounds. We went to the one in Darien.

I haven't been in the area for years so check on this too...Behind the Jewel that was at 95th & Roberts Rd there was a place just like you are looking for. The entrance is off 95th street but I can't for the life of me remember the name. Maybe someone will come up with it and can confirm if it is still in operation.

I went to google maps and the sign on the property says PGN and they are still open.

Many thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I'll try a few of them (I already go to Ridge Park frequently in Beverly and love it for what it is). If anyone cares given the available schedule I ended up doing "open jump" at the Orland Park Pump It Up (9:30-11:00). It's a good deal -- 7 bucks for the kids to go crazy for an 1.5 hours. The equipment is good and everything is new and spiffy and Orland Park people are well behaved. There is nothing like that on the south side of chicago.

I rarely head in that direction, do almost all of my business in the South Loop and near north side. I'm amazed at how far away people actually live. I thought Beverly was the edge of the world.

Thanks you whitepages.com

PGN Jump & Fun
8125 W 95th Street,
Hickory Hills, IL 60457

(708) 599-6100

I've been there too, what a weird, unmemorable name for it.

Another activity to try would be Brunswick Bowl. THere's one on 103rd between Cicero and Pulaski, I think.

I thought so too but I remembered it when we lived there by a pga comparison somehow. It had some nice miniature golf courses too. I don't know if it is as nice today as it was years ago. They didn't have a lot of video games but there was enough to entertain my son.
