Default near west burbs need more daycare options

Someone could make a very nice living by opening a decent daycare center in the Brookfield/LaGrange/Riverside area. There is almost NOTHING there to address this need. There is a new Montessori but it only goes up to kindergarten age. And for summer day camps, there's zip for full time care.

I am not real sure I would call those towns "near west burbs" -- "west Cook" is more accurate.

Anyhow, if anyone needs a starting point: Riverside Presbyterian Church Preschool

Well, there aren't many suburbs between Brookfield and the city--so I would still consider the area "near west suburbs". Oak Park has a huge number of daycare options (see link). You could park there and commute in on the train.

I'm sure there are other options closer to you, but I just happened to have this link bookmarked. I will be curious to see what people come up with for this thread, since this is an area I'm considering moving to eventually.
