Bolingbrook too dangerous for a white male? (Naperville, Arlington Heights: apartments, to live)

I'm looking for a studio apartment in the dupage county area. I work in Downers Grove. I'm looking for a cheap one. The cheapest I found was in Bolingbrook, but I looked at the statistics on this website and it says that it is 20% black people so that concerns me.

Currently I live in the ghetto in Naperville off of Fairway Dr (it's the part with all the black people).

I'm looking at the Riverstone apartments 308 Woodcreek Drive Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Will it be safe there?

The most dangerous part of Bolingbrook is Drew Peterson's house, but only if you're female. So I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.

(Statistically this is true since Bolingbrook averages only one murder per year, and often has years with zero murders).

good answer lol ! and a true one . my bro lived in this area and it was just fine . there is a great flea market there in the area called montana charlies . it is on a highway and has access to a lot of other areas . don't be afraid .

Maybe the problem is looking at just price. Typically, if you go for the absolute lowest price apartment in many suburbs, you will increase your chances of being in a less than desirable complex.
This is true in suburbs like Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Skokie, Prospect Heights, Wheeling and Arlington Heights. These are nice, decent suburbs-but in each one, I can show you the few pockets of where NOT to live. Sometimes for an extra $80-100 a month you're in a far nicer complex.

Well, I don't agree with you there. But as an experiment, go hang out around 25th and Center (in Milwaukee) for a 24 hour period this summer and see what happens. I'd only go through that area in a car.
