5. Naperville

No knock against Naperville; it's a nice town, but not top 5. Super subjective and unrealistic. Job location, budgets and personal preferences make these lists nothing more than fluff and lightning rods for fun debates/arguments.

these are the top 5 burbs I would move to- not top in Chicagoland area

Too many variable out there. Naperville is a really nice subdivisiony suburb, Evanston/oak Park have the urban cool thing going on. Hinsdale & Kenilworth seem to be missing from your list of rich suburbs.
Please define your terms.

I think they're stupid too. Forbes usually lists only the richest suburbs. USN&WR specifically excludes rich suburbs which is why Naperville always pops up on it. |
