Default Glendale Heights-Decent?

I am a single 39 year old woman who is looking to relocate to Glendale Heights. Is that a decent area? I cant seem to find anyone who can tell me anything about it. Thanks for any info.

I lived in Glendale Hts years ago as a single person. The town itself is just ok, but it's surrounded by nicer suburbs like Carol Stream, Oak Brook, Schaumburg, etc. There are parts of GH that are nice and parts that are a bit run down. I lived in an apartment complex there that I later learned when I interned at the State's attorney's office wasn't the safest. I never had a problem, though.

It's in a great, centralized location and close to everything. You're 20 minutes in either direction from two of the largest shopping centers, Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg and Oak Brook Mall (if you're into that). You're also just off of 355 tollway and 290/53.

good luck with your move.
