Yeah, I did see a light-skinned Mexican kid walking with a group of blacks into Simeon today. It gave me some hope.

Tru. But South Chicago is Pretty much a black-latino neighborhood (black people are the majority) and there's not a WHOLE lot of Tension between each other .
There's also some white people but most of them are old.

Why are you talking about South Chicago? That's south east, isn't it?

True but your words flowed as though we had been talking about South Chicago the whole time. It threw me for a loop.

Latinos are like the last hope to integrate Chicago southside(including southwest). It seem like they are the only ones willing to settle in any neighborhood.

Chicago Lawn/Marquette Park is another black-latino neighborhood. I don't really see much tension between blacks and latinos in Chicago, unlike what I heard about LA.
I notice an increase of Mexicans(and other latinos) in the south suburbs. Blue Island & Chicago Heights is fairly diverse with them. There is one school in Harvey called Holmes Elementary that went from majority black to now 67% latino within the past 8 years.
