Default How safe is Dobson St. in Evanston?
I'm thinking to rent an apartment on Dobson St. in Evanston, but I heard that Howard Ave. is not safe at all. And what about that area in general? Thank you.

southsidehitman is on a distinguished road
i dont get up to the north shore often but id say its pretty upscale and safe up there but yeah howard st in rogers park isnt the nicest place

Nothing 'upscale' about that area.

Not saying you shouldnt rent there, just that this posters guess is very, very wrong.
