Default Crest Hill, Illinois

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anybody could give me any information about Crest Hill, Illinois. Anything about the schools especially would be great. I did a search and found a little information, but I was hoping I could find out a little more as well as a little more recent. What's the area like? I know the school's population is very diverse. If anybody could also shed any sort of thoughts on the commute that would be great. I'll be living around UIC and I know that Mapquest said it would be about a 50 minute drive, but what would traffic be like during the rush hours? I don't know if it would be as bad as driving on I-90 or anything like that. I'm sorry if I'm vague, but just would appreciate any information.

I live right down from Crest Hill.

Which of the schools are you enquiring about? Primary or secondary?

Otherwise, it's a pretty low key area. The housing across Larkin closer to I-55/30 is a lot newer. The closer you get to the river, it blends in with the rest of Joliet. I happen to like a lot of the little old brick houses across Theodore.
