Roselle police are investigating a report of a naked man who jumped out of some bushes in front of two teenage girls just after 11 p.m. Thursday near the Schaumburg Metra station.
The mother of a 16-year-old girl told police her daughter was approached by the naked man while walking with a friend on Travis Parkway, near Brittania Way on the west side of Roselle.
Police said a white male, about 50 years old, with gray hair and a heavy build, standing about 5 feet 7 inches, jumped from the bushes. He never touched the girls or attempted to run after them, police said, but the girls immediately fled and reported the incident to their parents.
Police searched the area but could not find the offender and are continuing their investigation. Anyone with information should call police at (630) 671-4049 or visit
