Default Itasca-area grandparent's-home search

My grandparents lived near Itasca in a brick colonial they called "evergreen." We have vivid memories of that home the trips to watch (and be scared by) the trains. This was in the late 40s/early 50s. My brother is now in the area looking for his memories but hasn't a clue how to find this homestead. The family name was Foster. My grandfather was Bruce G. Foster. I realize this is a long shot but worth the effort. The house had a large lot was out in the country. Obviously this is a long time ago but hopefully there's an area that might make sense for my brother to search around in. If not, oh well....and thanks anyway.

Do you recall if the train bordered their back yard? IF so, is it possible they were in Medinah?

Default Itasca

I lived in Itasca between 1936 and 1948. I do not remember the name Foster. Do you have a picture of the house or of Bruce Foster? Most of my friends left town about the same time I did (graduated form college), but someone may remember the name. Vera Allen
