Hey Guys,
We are think about buying our first home - northbrook and Glenviewturns out to be too expensive for us (we want to buy relatively newer property but also dont want those small new constructions) I found some properties at Hinsdale - which turns out to be actually willowbrook - they call it Hinsdale Unincorporated Anyone can tell me the difference and potential risks/benefits? Thanks a ton KR |

The difference is probably the school district. There are three school districts that serve portions of Willowbrook. One is Hinsdale's school district, 181, which is one of the top 10 best in the state. District 62 is almost as good as 181, and District 180 is not even close. The benefit would be that because you're not in Hinsdale, your taxes will probably be lower.

Minuses: Not Hinsdale even though you have the name, but not the proximity to the train or 294. |
