Willowbrook HS doesn't serve Willowbrook.
Lyons Township High School doesn't serve Lyons.
Hinsdale South doesn't serve Hinsdale.

I can see why people are confused.

There are lots of homes with Hinsdale mailing addresses that are served by Hinsdale South HS, though no homes within the corporate limits of Hinsdale are in the "Hinsdale South only" attendance area, some may be the "either" campus category.

I think there are also some folks with Lyons addresses in the LT district, there must have been some kind of 'hinky' deal to send kids that clearly live in the Township of Lyons to the HS that is Morton. Might have involved Capone... The map from city data is accurate -- very odd line drawn when you switch from the elementary boundary to the secondary school.

Willowbrook the town and Willowbrook HS are not close together, but not so far that some are not confused.

I don't think anyone from Lyons goes to Lyons Township High School. Here's a quote from the school's website:

"LT serves a community composed of the villages of LaGrange, Western Springs, Burr Ridge, Countryside, Hodgkins, Indian Head Park, LaGrange Highlands, LaGrange Park, McCook, and parts of Brookfield and Willow Springs."

Source: LTHS - LT Facts

Here's a map of the attendance area, which does at least get close to Lyons...
