Default Looking for a "Home town"

Hi all. My husband is looking at a potential relocation. He will be splitting his time between Hoffman Estates and downtown Chi. He is happy to ride the train. We are looking for a new "home town" that has great schools (two boys 5 and 7), great community feel and easy access to the metra between the two locations. Any thoughts?

We have lived in Schaumburg for 6 years. The public schools are excellent. My daughter attends the Japanesse school of choice program and the Violin program. She has been learn Japanesse in her classroom since KG...5 years now. Schaumburg also other programs to choice from in their public schools such as Spanish. The neighborhood is friendly. Taxes are lower and close to the train. Since we next to Hoffman he would save time getting to work 1/2 of the time.
