Default Relocating to Bradley, Il - Where to live?

My husband is transfering to Bradley, Il and I have been looking at different areas in which we can live. We have 3 kids, ages 10, 8 and 4 so schools are very important to us. We do not mind living in a racially diverse area as long as it is safe. We currently live in Modesto, CA so everything I have found out about different areas has been from the internet.

So far I am considering Bourbonnais, Bradley, Frankfort, New Lennox, Manteno, and maybe Flossmoor and Homewood (though may be too far). I would appreciate any first hand info that anyone can provide about schools, housing, shopping, community, quality of life, etc. Also, let me know if there are other areas I should consider.

Thanks!
