Default Southwicke in Streamwood area?

We are looking at a rental townhome in the Southwicke community of Streamwood. Not knowing anything about the area, i wanted opinions on the area of this development. I have heard there are iffy parts of Streamwood.

Thanks!! Also, we are looking to rent in Schaumburg as well. Any good camparisons of the two towns?

The schools in Schaumburg are superior to those in Streamwood. There isn't much difference as to location, although Schaumburg puts you 10 minutes closer to O'Hare. Streamwood borders Schaumburg on its western side, so it isn't far.

I think both villages offer parks, recreation, etc. Schaumburg has lower property taxes.
