credit card levy
i do not work and a bank account with my name only on it has had a levy put on it by a credit card company, i was making payments every two weeks but when my bank was bought out the account numbers changed and they had one returned payment, now they have levied my account double of what i owe and put me in the negative. If it stays my electric is going to be shut off as their is a check that will post soon and i have no idea what i can do. I cant work because of illness but my husband does work, his name is not on the account, is there anything i can do?
