Its a wonderful burb, but its very different from your original picture and request. Downtown Geneva and surrounding hoods are mature, old growth trees and the town is not known for its aluminum sided tract homes that you requested. But, Glad you found something that feels like home for you.

You're right! I better run and hide under a rock while other humans study dark matter!
If I'm lucky I'll get some sort of tour of the facilities, I was lucky enough to visit CERN last winter...

Although downtown Geneva is an older, mature neighborhoods, there's tons of new construction in the outer neighborhoods, west of Randall Rd corridor.

I never requested aluminium siding tract homes...
I just want two floors & new construction in new developing areas.

Is the part of Geneva you like close to downtown, amongst the older homes and tree-lined streets or is it west of Randall in the newer areas? Or in-between?

I haven't visited in person yet, only seen MLS listings. I'm going to be heading out there this weekend to get a better feel.
I'm really just avoiding densely populated burbs like Evanston. I don't want to feel like I'm in Lakeview or Lincoln Park 2.0...
Any more suggestions would be awesome.

I was judging by the picture you presented. an aluminum sided tract home.
Maybe you would like Huntley,Marengo areas. Newer homes, shopping and developments and some lovely open landscapes around.
And as long as you will be checking out Geneva, go next door to St Charles as well.

Yes, thats true. When I think of Geneva, I usually am thinking of downtown and its surrounding n'hoods, but you are right, newer sub divisions on the outskirts.

Thanks guys. Glad to be here. :P
I'm looking forward to the change of leaves too.
I get so bitter when I think about how much I hated where I was, now?
I giggle like a school boy.
