Default Young professional moving to Hanover Park

Hello All,

I am looking at a new job that would move me to Hanover Park. What suburbs would people recommend I look into as a place to live?

Things to keep in mind:

I am a single white male in my late 20's
I am looking to rent (for now)
I would like a commute of under 30 minutes
I would like a community that is considered "safe" and "clean"

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Where you coming from? That will help define "safe" and "clean". I've lived in Elgin my whole adult life and think it meets those criteria. Others might disagree. Lots of rental units here. But like anywhere there are neighborhoods where street smarts pay off.

If you decide to live in Hanover Look in South Hanover (south of Lake st). Good Location close to stores, train, expressway. Also look into Roselle,Carol Stream,Schaumburg (tons of rental)
