Question Lambs Farm - worth a visit?

New to the area and just finding way around. I passed Lambs Farm on the I-94 and it looked quite good. Need to entertain age range 3 to 7. Is it worth a visit?

Wait for one of the weekends where they bring all the inflatable equipment for the kids to play on. Otherwise, it's just a tiny train, a petting zoo, and a gift shop. Although, it was about 5 yrs ago since I've been there.

You can go to oakleesguide.com for info on kid stuff in Chicagoland.

I like it. Small scale is manageable, the kids LOVE the animals-- it's quiet since there aren't crowds. The train and carousel are both nice. There's a home-cooking style restaurant and a nice thrift shop with lots of kids' toys/books CHEAP. Also a hot dog stand, icecream/bakery store, pet store and maybe? a gift store (I'm not the gift store type, so not sure about that one).

You can bring a picnic or get food there.

I'd call it a manageable outing with a slower pace-- which is just what you want some days. And, the money goes to a good cause, so you feel good about that, too.
